Gregory Glance
Gregory Glance
Summer 2026

Gregory is a mechanical engineer at GE Vernova's nuclear business, where he leads structural and dynamic analysis on reactor internals and support structures for the BWRX-300 small modular reactor. Over eight years he has owned analysis across three hardware domains: advanced nuclear at GE Vernova, concentrated solar at Heliogen, and semiconductor lithography at ASML. He was the sole structural analyst on Heliogen's heliostat systems, taking hardware from design through field commissioning, and at ASML he led a four-engineer team analyzing EUV lithography systems built to nanometer tolerances. His work sits at the intersection of high-precision engineering and large-scale energy hardware, two domains increasingly central to the energy transition. Gregory holds a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering and a Master's in Systems Engineering from Cornell. He is drawn to climate investing because the hardest problems in decarbonization, from nuclear deployment to industrial electrification, are fundamentally engineering problems, and he sees technical diligence as an underrated edge in early-stage climate investing. Outside of work he is usually in the mountains, recently on the Tour du Mont Blanc, 3D printing, or following Formula 1.
